I’m not going to talk about the future of internet bookmarking programs as Digg, Propeller, Stumble and others.

I’m going to show you a “classic” book mark wich can be the future for reading cooks in the dark and bookmarking them.

Here it is: MARK the future gadget for bookmarking.

mark1 The future of bookmark

MARK is a light source, which can be used while reading at night, placed in between the pages, just like any other book mark, without disturbing others around you. MARK uses a sheet of thin plastic embedded with FOLEDs to achieve a glowing effect.

Also the MARK can be used as a regular book mark.

Avnish Gautam has designed this amazing concept bookmark made out of embedded FOLEDs (flexible organic light emitting diodes) technology which can be lights up while reading at night.

Although just a concept, MARK won the Red Dot Award for best design concept in 2007 so we can expect to see it in the stores soon.

So reading a book in the middle of the night without disturbing others is no longer a dream.
