Space form our home it is getting and smaller because we buy and take home new products every month.

The engineers from LG saw that and came with an interesting idea: the combination between a microwave oven and the toaster.

This combination was created to save space. Due to the lack of space the future gadgets will try to make more with less.

The microwave/toaster looks good and will save your space.

The only problem is if your toaster will broke and you’ll take it to be repaired you’ll lose the microwave as well.

How the future gadgets will be: fun or useful?

The best way, of course is useful and fun. But the majority of devices developers will just choose one.

The fun gadgets will be developed in the future because of the stress level. In our society stress is a major factor for a lot of diseases. The stress level is very hi so we need relaxation: just see how many entertainment tv shows are and how many sites about jokes, funny pictures and funny videos. In Google the are 1.020.000 pages about funny gadgets.

The gadgets to have fun with will be developed in the next years because life should be fun.

Useful gadgets can not disappear, this devices will make your life much easier; the best examples are the ones for people with disabilities (you can read an article about this called Gadgets that really change lifes).

Some examples of fun and useful gadgets for the future are the ones created to kill time(utility) and to have fun like Mp players, cell phones with the ability to play videos and games and smart PDA’s.

Mobile phones will fight with digital cameras for the digital photography?

I have asked myself if the mobile phones can replace the digital camera in the future.

All modern mobile phones have cameras and they are becoming powerful and powerful every month. A couple of years ago the camera for a mobile phone was just another gadgets. It had 0,3 to 1 Mega Pixels so the pictures were more than horrible.

Modern cell phones camera has been improved and now you can get a phone with 2 or 3 Mega Pixels which make the photos acceptable as quality. Don’t aspect to make great pictures, but the photos will be clear enough. The future phone camera gadgets will have an increased number of Mega Pixels and a better zoom capacity.

Just to give you one example of the modern cell power let’s see a smart cell phone:

• Samsung G600

The Samsung G600 has a 5 Megapixels camera. That means good photos. This gadget phone has also digital zoom, autofocus and macro functions.

Although the mobile phones are becoming better they can’t replace the digital cameras.

The digital cameras have a bigger number of Megapixels, a powerful blitz, very powerful zoom , red eye reduction built-in, better macro and auto focus functions and they can use profesional lens.

Just imagine can you use a lens that look like this at you phone?

The advantage of cell phones: you always have your phone with you so if you didn’t take your camera and you see something you want to have a picture with the phone camera will do the job.

Conclusion

The mobile phones will not replace the digital camera because:

• the phones camera have a smaller number of megapixels, so the professionals will go for the digital cameras
• powerless blitz. The mobile phones blitz can’t be as powerful as a digital camera because it must save battery. Imagine yourself taking a few picture with the phone and after that you will have zero battery.
• the phones have zoom
• no possibility to add a pro lens.

But for the one which don’t need a big number of pixels and a powerful zoom the mobile phone camera will be enough. And the compact size of the camera from the cell phone is a big plus, you can make pictures if you see something interesting without having a digital camera with you.

The future gadgets must use touch screens because there are simple to use and have enormous popularity. A big plus for using touch screens is the new technology which permits making cheaper electronics.
